The Art Institute Online, a division of The Art Institute of Pittsburgh, is a virtual learning school offering Internet-delivered education. Bachelor of Science and Associate of Science degree programs in Graphic Design, and Multimedia & Web Design, as well as diploma programs in Digital Design and Web Design, are currently offered, delivered entirely online.

Classes are offered in a six-week intensive format during which students may complete their work on those days at any time during a 24-hour period. Students log on to multimedia-rich virtual classrooms to read class assignments, submit work and discuss it with their instructor and classmates on their own time.
